The Church of Our Lady of Fatima wishes to inform parishioners and visitors of updated Sunday parking arrangements beginning 24 May 2026 due to increasing parking limitations within the church compound.

To better assist elderly parishioners and persons with disabilities, parking within the church compound will be limited to a small number of reserved vehicles per Mass. These spaces are strictly prioritised for those transporting elderly family members or individuals with special mobility needs.

Parishioners attending Mass with children or families are encouraged to utilise the designated external parking areas:

• BAC Parking Lot — RM6 minimum payment
• St. Teresa’s School — Free parking
• La Salle School — RM5 via QR payment

Parishioners are also kindly requested to remove vehicles immediately after Mass to allow others to utilise the limited parking bays available within the compound.

The parish administration sincerely thanks everyone for their understanding, patience, and cooperation as efforts continue to ensure a safe and smooth worship experience for all.

From 18 to 23 May 2026, the bishops of the Catholic Bishops’ Conference of Malaysia, Singapore and Brunei (CBCMSB) will undertake their Ad Limina Apostolorum visit to Rome.

The Ad Limina visit, which means “to the thresholds of the apostles,” is a significant pilgrimage where bishops visit the tombs of Saints Peter and Paul, meet with various Vatican dicasteries, and gather in communion with the Holy Father, Pope Leo XIV.

The faithful are invited to keep our bishops in prayer during this important journey of faith, discernment, and unity with the universal Church.

A special time of prayer will be held at the Church of Our Lady of Fatima on Monday, 18 May 2026:

• 9:30 AM — Holy Hour
• 10:00 AM — Holy Rosary
• 10:40 AM — Benediction
• 11:00 AM — Holy Eucharist

Let us pray that this pilgrimage may renew and strengthen our bishops as they continue shepherding the faithful in Malaysia, Singapore, and Brunei with wisdom, courage, and fidelity.

The parish community gathered in thanksgiving as Fr. Simon Agbo celebrated the Holy Eucharist together with Fr. Andrew Manickam and Fr. Michael, giving thanks to God for the gift of life and priestly ministry.

In his homily, Fr. Simon reflected on his vocation journey and the many moments throughout his life where God’s grace sustained and guided him. Reflecting on the readings of the day, he reminded the faithful of the importance of remaining close to the Cross and keeping Christ at the centre of our lives.

Fr. Simon also expressed his heartfelt appreciation for the warmth, kindness, and hospitality extended to him by Fr. Andrew and the parishioners during his time at the Church of Our Lady of Fatima.

Following the Eucharistic celebration, parishioners gathered for a joyful time of fellowship and a celebratory meal.

We continue to keep Fr. Simon in prayer and wish him abundant blessings, good health, and joy in his priestly ministry.

The Church of Our Lady of Fatima invites all parishioners and friends to journey together in prayer through the monthly 13th Day Devotion in honour of Our Lady of Fatima.

This devotion commemorates the Marian apparitions at Fatima in 1917, where Our Blessed Mother appeared to the three shepherd children — Lucia, Francisco, and Jacinta — calling the world to prayer, repentance, and deeper devotion to Jesus in the Holy Eucharist.

Following our recent Parish Feast Day celebrations, the parish community will continue this spiritual devotion each month from May to October, gathering in prayer for peace in the world, for families, and for the needs of the Church.

The next devotion will take place on Saturday, 13 June 2026:

7:15 pm — Mini Procession

The Church of Our Lady of Fatima, Brickfields will be hosting the 2nd Interchurch Badminton Fellowship on Saturday, 8 August 2026.

This fellowship gathering brings together participants from various church communities for a day of friendly competition, fellowship, and community building through sports.

The Church of Our Lady of Fatima invites parishioners and friends to gather in prayer as we commemorate the first anniversary of the election of Pope Leo XIV to the Chair of Saint Peter.

As the universal Church gives thanks for his leadership and pastoral ministry, we unite ourselves in prayer for the Holy Father — that the Lord may continue to guide him with wisdom, courage, humility, and fidelity in shepherding God’s people.

In a world longing for peace, hope, and unity, we also pray for the Church throughout the world, entrusting Pope Leo XIV’s ministry to the protection of the Blessed Virgin Mary and the guidance of the Holy Spirit.
