“Mary — Model of Prayer”

The third day of the Novena to Our Lady of Fatima at the Church of Our Lady of Fatima began with a beautiful and moving sight – children prayerfully leading the Rosary and offering their prayers for other children around the world.
During the Holy Hour, the parish community lifted up in prayer children in families and communities, the sick and terminally ill, children in hospitals and orphanages, victims of trafficking, and all young ones who carry hidden struggles and pain. Special prayers were also offered for parents and caregivers, asking God to bring healing, protection, and comfort to every child in need.
Celebrating the Novena Mass, Rev. Fr. William Michael reflected on the theme “Mary, Model of Prayer,” reminding the faithful that prayer is not merely the recitation of words, but a living relationship with God. Through Mary’s example, the congregation was invited to listen attentively to God, trust fully in His will, remain faithful even in suffering, and grow in unity as one Church community.
The evening was beautifully coordinated by the children of the parish, who participated actively in the liturgy and prayer. A special blessing was also given to all children present.
