Preparations for the Parish Feast of Our Lady of Fatima
As we prepare for our Parish Feast, restoration work is currently being carried out on the statue of Our Lady of Fatima — a cherished symbol of faith and devotion within our parish.
This careful renewal reflects not only a physical restoration, but also invites us, as a community, to prepare our hearts spiritually for the days ahead.
From 5 May to 13 May 2026, we journey together through the Novena and Feast, seeking Our Lady’s intercession for our families, our parish, and our intentions.
May this time of preparation draw us closer to Christ through the loving guidance of His Blessed Mother.

Day 01 | 05 May 2026
Novena to Our Lady of Fatima 2026 — Day 1
“Mary — Model of Faith”
5 May 2026
The Novena to Our Lady of Fatima commenced with parishioners and friends gathering for the hoisting of the feast day flag prior to Holy Mass, marking the beginning of the parish feast day celebrations.
The Eucharistic Celebration was concelebrated by Rev. Fr. Andrew Manickam and Rev. Fr. V.A. Michael. In his homily, Fr. V.A. Michael reflected on the deep faith and trust that Mary placed in God throughout her life — from the Annunciation and the Presentation of Jesus in the Temple, to the Passion of Christ and the formation of the early Church.
He reminded the faithful that although Mary may have faced uncertainty and questions, she remained steadfast in trusting the Lord. Parishioners were also encouraged to remain close to the Eucharist and to continually renew their trust in Christ each time they participate in Holy Mass.
The evening was coordinated by the OLF Youth, who carried out the various liturgical ministries. A special blessing was also given to the young people of the parish.
During the Holy Hour, prayers were offered for the youth, for the intentions of those present, and for deceased family members and friends. The Holy Rosary was prayed as a spiritual offering of roses to Our Blessed Mother.
The parish warmly invites all parishioners and friends to continue journeying together through the Novena and Feast Day celebrations.
