OLF Invites Parishioners to Join the Photography Ministry and Develop Their Skills

The Church has long relied on gifted individuals who use their talents to serve the community. Today, photography has become one of those important ministries, helping to preserve moments of faith, document parish life and share the Gospel through images.

Recognising the growing importance of this ministry, the Church of Our Lady of Fatima is inviting parishioners with an interest in photography to consider becoming part of a future OLF Photography Ministry. Whether you already have experience behind the camera or are simply eager to learn, what matters most is a willingness to serve.

At the same time, parishioners who wish to develop their photography skills may be interested in an upcoming Photography Workshop organised by the Archdiocese of Kuala Lumpur.

Open to beginners and experienced photographers alike, the workshop will introduce participants to practical techniques for photographing liturgical celebrations, parish events and community life. The session will be facilitated by Timothy Choy, who has been serving the Church through photography and videography for almost a decade.

While the workshop is organised independently by the Archdiocese, it presents a valuable opportunity for anyone interested in photography to learn new skills and discover how this talent can become a meaningful form of service within the Church.
