Praying for Malaysia on the 69th Anniversary of Merdeka

The Church of Our Lady of Fatima will mark Malaysia’s 69th Independence Day on Monday, 31 August 2026, with a morning of prayer culminating in the celebration of the Holy Eucharist.

As we give thanks for the blessings God has bestowed upon our nation, parishioners are invited to pray for Malaysia and its people — for peace, unity, justice and the continued wellbeing of all communities.

The programme will be:

9.00am – Holy Hour
10.00am – Holy Rosary
10.40am – Holy Benediction
11.00am – Holy Mass

Let us come together in gratitude for our country and entrust Malaysia’s present and future to Almighty God.
