Prayer of Reparation for the Blessed Sacrament
The faithful are invited to join the Church in prayer and reparation following the reported theft of the Blessed Sacrament from a hospital in Rome, and in atonement for all acts of sacrilege committed against the Most Holy Eucharist.
For Catholics, the Eucharist is not merely a symbol but the Real Presence of Jesus Christ — Body, Blood, Soul, and Divinity. Any act of disrespect or profanation directed towards the Blessed Sacrament is therefore a cause of profound sorrow for the Church.
In response, the Archdiocese of Rome has called the faithful to prayer and reparation, entrusting the matter to God’s mercy and seeking a renewed love, reverence, and devotion towards the Holy Eucharist.
The Church of Our Lady of Fatima joins this prayerful intention and invites parishioners to spend time before the Blessed Sacrament, offering prayers of reparation and asking the Lord to strengthen our faith in His Eucharistic Presence.
May our prayers become a source of grace, healing, conversion, and renewed reverence for the Most Blessed Sacrament.
