Day 2 of the Malaysia Pastoral Convention 2026 brought a special moment for the Church of Our Lady of Fatima when the voice of OLF parishioner Brigitte Januarius was heard during the Opening Ceremony in Sibu.
Brigitte sang “Bangkitlah – The Journey of the Salib”, the official song of MPC 2026. Her recorded performance formed part of the Opening Ceremony, sharing her gift of music with those gathered in Sibu and those following the Convention from elsewhere.
The OLF community joins Fr. Andrew Manickam in giving thanks to God for Brigitte’s contribution and praying that He will continue to bless her in her service through music.
As MPC 2026 continues, we also keep the Convention and all its participants in prayer, that the Holy Spirit may guide their journey together and the mission of the Church in Malaysia.
