OLF Shares Deepavali Cheer with Students at SK St Teresa

On Friday, 30 October 2026, Rev. Fr Andrew Manickam and parishioners from the Church of Our Lady of Fatima visited SK St Teresa, Brickfields, as part of the parish’s Deepavali social outreach programme.

Organised by the OLF Parish Integral Human Development (PIHD) Ministry, the visit aimed to share festive joy and extend support to 20 students celebrating Deepavali.

During the visit, grocery bags contributed by parishioners and friends were distributed to the students, together with ang pow packets prepared by a benefactor.

Fr Andrew and the parishioners exchanged Deepavali greetings with the students and school staff.

OLF extends its appreciation to Puan Hajinder, Headmistress of SK St Teresa, for her support and cooperation, as well as to the parishioners, friends and benefactor whose contributions made the outreach possible.

The initiative forms part of OLF’s wider Deepavali outreach programme, with visits to additional locations scheduled for 3 November 2026.

Through this outreach, the parish continues to foster a spirit of generosity, friendship and solidarity with the wider community.
