*The Year of Prayer

In preparation for the 2025 Jubilee Year ‘Pilgrims of Hope’, 2024 has been designated a Year of Prayer by Pope Francis. It starts this Advent.
There is a particular focus on the Our Father, and this presents us with a great opportunity to go back to the basics of prayer.
Every Catholic is to reflect their life of prayer: what they pray, how they pray, and why they pray. This is for two reasons:
To encourage people to go deeper in their commitment to pray, and in their love of God;
To think about how they might accompany someone else to pray during the coming Year of Prayer.

Arus Oil in collaboration with OLF Creation Justice Ministry encourages parishioners and friends to bring used cooking oil (UCO) for recycling and place the UCO in the container next to the Kloth Bin. Let’s all do our part to conserve our planet. For more info, please contact Marilyn 017-328 6199.

Rorate Caeli Mass

A Rorate Caeli Mass is traditionally celebrated just before dawn in Advent as a devotion to the Blessed Virgin Mary. The Mass is only lit by candles, representing Mary’s role in bringing the Light of the World into the darkness of the world.
Mass begins in darkness before sunrise, with only candles lighting the church to remind us of a world in darkness and sin that is anticipating the coming of the “Light of the World.” As Mass progresses, the church becomes brighter until the risen sun fills it with the light of day.
The Rorate Caeli Mass will be celebrated on the Saturdays in Advent, December 7th, 14th & 21st at 6:00am, followed by the Rosary and Litany of Loreto.
We encourage you to join in this beautiful liturgy and tradition! Hot coffee will be served in Dewan Fatima.
