🌎 Commemorating Earth Day at Our Parish – April 27, 2026
🌱 After their Catechism class, the young ones from our parish gathered to plant a tree in the ‘Garden of Fatima’. There was excitement, giggles and joy that children always bring along. Fr. Andrew started the event off with a prayer for the effort, nature and the young children. With some assistance the learners planted the 6-foot-tall tree – taking turns to add soil and water while their Catechists and parents stood as pillars of encouragement and support.
We encourage young ones to take up nurturing a plant – be it in their gardens, balconies or yards and to care for Mother Earth. 🌿
