Christmas Octave

From Christmas Day until January 1st, the Solemnity of the Blessed Virgin Mary, the Mother of God, is the Octave Day of Christmas. The Liturgy gives the clues that every day within the octave is treated the same as the original feast day of the Nativity of our Lord. The Liturgy of the Hours repeats Sunday Week I every day of the octave.
Join us in the Christmas Octave Masses.

Feast of Holy Innocents

The Feast of the Holy Innocents is a children’s feast; this day has also been known as “Childermas”. It is a good day to begin the parental blessing of children.
All parents need to do is to make the sign of the cross on the child’s forehead with the right thumb dipped in holy water and say:
“May God bless you, may He be the Guardian of your heart and mind – the Father, + Son and Holy Spirit. Amen.”
Kindly bring your children for a special blessing on the Feast Day of the Holy Innocents on 28th December for 7:00am Rosary followed by Mass at 7:30am.
